At BVYSCO, we are not just teaching kids to play music. We are building something bigger, together with their families. String instruments demand discipline, collaboration, and confidence. None of this is possible without outstanding music instruction, and the dedicated partnership of parents and guardians who show up, ask questions, and stay engaged in their children's learning. We know how much it takes to support a young musician. This is why BVYSCO exists. Not just for students, but for the families who support them. We work side by side with parents, teaching them the same instrument their child is learning to create an environment for participants that is challenging, joyful, and deeply supportive—on stage and at home.

Our mission is to empower young musicians by providing high-quality ensemble training that fosters artistic excellence, personal development, and a sustained passion for music. We envision a Brazos Valley where all students, and their families, regardless of their financial circumstances, can experience the transformative influence of music within a supportive, stimulating, and community-focused setting.

“Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra, LLC is a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra, LLC will be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.”

Fractured Atlas assesses a 8% administrative fee on all donations to our fiscally sponsored projects. This fee covers all administrative costs—including website maintenance, credit card processing, staff time, and bank fees. It’s completely up to you whether or not you’d like to cover the fee. If you choose not to, it will be subtracted from project's revenue.
