10/11/25: Orchestra Rehearsals Begin
I understand that the information in this application is true to the best of my knowledge and that the video submitted is our own unedited audition video. I also understand that The Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra reserves the right to discharge participants who have submitted false or misleading information in the application process. If accepted as a student of the BVYSCO, I agree to abide by BVYSCO regulations. I agree not to bring any alcoholic beverages or firearms onto BVYSCO premises or to possess or engage in the illegal use of drugs while a student of the BVYSCO. Students are expected (in their academic conduct) to comport themselves with basic standards of honesty and character. Plagiarism, cheating, and dishonesty in BVYSCO related matters are prohibited and can result in a student’s dismissal from the BVYSCO without refunding any part of the fees paid.
The applicant consents to the creation and distribution of any recording, broadcast, or electronic transmission of any kind, without compensation, made by the BVYSCO or any BVYSCO approved entities while he/she is a student at the BVYSCO. The applicant similarly consents to the use of his/her likeness in photographs, video, or any visual media created and distributed by the BVYSCO or BVYSCO approved entities.
I release and hold harmless The Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of The Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises.
The undersigned gives permission to The Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra, its owners and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event the emergency contact cannot be reached. I affirm that the participant is in good physical and mental health, and able to participate fully. I request that our doctor/physician be called and that I be transported to the nearest hospital if the Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra deems necessary.
The undersigned gives permission to The Brazos Valley Youth String Chamber Orchestra to use any portraits or video that may include your image and/or likeness for promotional purposes.
